You can heat that ceramic plate with your blow dryer to style your hair without applying heat directly to your hair. This method is up to hundreds of degrees cooler than your typical flat iron or blow dryer on high heat.
The coolest part about these brushes is their awesome features. The flat brush features a mirror on the entire back of the brush, from the top down, through the handle! It also has a button that pushes the ceramic plate upward releasing all of your hair from the brush! (As seen in middle picture) The same technology is applied to th round brush! See that black handle on the round brush? You can pull that handle downwards and the ceramic plates will push forward releasing all of the hair. Round brushes are generally very tough to clean. It drives me crazy the way the hair gets twisted at the base!
